Box Day
We were all excited when our boxes from Sonlight arrived on our porch! After a month-long break from school work, I think we're almost ready to get back to our academic pursuits. Almost.

Luke and Leia
Two new Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies joined our family on Sunday. Luke and Leia are 10 weeks old, black, white, and brown, and absolutely adorable. We'll miss our beloved AnnaBelle everyday, but we're thankful for our new additions.

Fred
There's a hawk that lives in our neighborhood. The kids have named him Fred. Most likely, he's lived here longer than the rest of us. He's probably pretty confused by it all... "What are those little white carts that roll everywhere, and why do the people who ride in them keep hitting those little white balls, only to chase after them again?" Fred also has a cousin, known simply as "Fred's Cousin." So, sometimes we see two hawks, and I inevitably hear, "Hey, look, there's Fred and Fred's Cousin!" Apparently, the neighborhood is still enough of a home for him. We're very glad to have Fred!
